How to Succeed in the 21st Century
This past week, I was visiting New York City with my family. Coming from a small town, I quickly realized the beauty in knowing absolutely no one around me. Within minutes, a hundred people would walk by me — they had no idea who I was and would have no memory of me. In my town, if a hundred people walked by me, I’d know at least twenty. If I do anything unexpected, I am sure that my mom will know about it before I get home. There’s no freedom.
